Dr. Tim Delbridge, Ph.D.
Dr. Delbridge is an agricultural economist with research interests in farm financial management, production economics, and risk management. Current research topics include the spatial patterns of cropping system adoption decisions, crop insurance options for organic growers, and the economic impacts of regulation on the California wine industry.
Prior to coming to Cal Poly, Dr. Delbridge earned a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota. He has taught undergraduate courses in managerial economics and environmental economics and policy at the University of Minnesota and Oregon State University, respectively. At Cal Poly, Tim teaches courses in agricultural credit and finance, agribusiness risk management, and quantitative methods.
