Dr. Tim Delbridge, Ph.D.

Dr. Delbridge is an agricultural economist with research interests in farm financial management, production economics, and risk management. Current research topics include the spatial patterns of cropping system adoption decisions, economic feasibility of automation in specialty crops, and the economic impacts of insect pests on specialty crop producers.  

 

Dr. Delbridge teaches courses in agribusiness management, credit and finance, and risk management. He leads the “Agribusiness in Mexico” study abroad program (launching in summer of 2020) in which students learn agribusiness topics in the context of Mexican operations of US agricultural firms. Dr. Delbridge holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota and is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Paraguay).
