What Our Agribusiness Adjunct Faculty Have Been Up To

Lecturer Chris Wright (right) has been involved with the StrengthsQuest Training on campus. StrengthsQuest is the academic version of StrengthsFinder. It was first introduced to freshmen in fall 2016 and the training is now open to all staff and faculty. Wright received a certificate as a Strengths Mentor and she strongly urges all other staff and faculty to get involved. "It will help them personally and we will all become great assets to our students," she said.

Lecturer Paige Gill (left) became a GALLUP-certified strengths coach in January 2015 and is a trainer for the StrengthsFinder program. She has used StrengthsFinder for years with students in their career preparations, and said she was delighted to see Cal Poly offer this to freshmen.

Both Wright and Gill have found the StrengthsFinder Assessment to be very beneficial for students, both in their academic careers and as they progress into professional careers.
