Ag Metrics Group, a nationally recognized agricultural science organization currently has an opening for Research Station Manager at our facility in central Florida. This is a solid career position with a well-established and growing contract research group, in a great working environment, existing professional staff, and a comprehensive salary and benefits package.
Requirements:
B.S. or M.S. degree
At least 10 years of experience in Ag product Tech Services or field research management. The ideal candidate will have experience in both academic and commercial positions.
Expertise with the management of research facilities and research equipment, as well as the supervision of a diverse set of field and scientific staff teams.
Demonstrated direct sales or sales support experience with products (commercial ag chemicals) or services in the agricultural sector.
Management of customer relations, business development, and professional networking from a senior leadership position.
Strong competence in best practices for high-value crops in the Southeastern U.S.
Knowledge of agricultural chemical management in greenhouses and open fields.
Experience with regulated biotech studies and knowledge of GLP compliant research preferred.
Capable of working outdoors for sustained periods.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A command of the Spanish language is recommended, but not required.
Some travel to other company facilities in Michigan and California.
Must be able to work legally in the United States without Company sponsorship.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet auto insurability requirements.
