Cal Poly’s Agribusiness Department (AGB) is well known for producing future agribusiness leaders.
Our graduates have a global perspective and are exposed to the world’s dynamic environmental, political, economic and social environments. Upon graduation, students have the interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving and applied business skills that are required for successful careers with regional, national and international agribusiness industries, the firms and organizations that support those industries, and in multiple pursuits outside of those industries.

Housing and Residential Life
As part of Cal Poly’s commitment to building a well-rounded, nurturing support system that positively impacts academics but also student life, students in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences are required to live on campus their first two years. Students are notified of the two-year housing program requirement when they are admitted to Cal Poly.
Living on campus is a great opportunity to enhance connections with the entire Cal Poly community while having resources that support academics, inclusion and well-being easily accessible.
