Management Trainee Program

Location(s): Lodi, Stockton, Modesto, Turlock, and Sacramento
Employment Status: Full Time (40hrs) Nonexempt

Essential Job Responsibilities:

This is a management trainee position which may ultimately result in the individual becoming a commercial and/or agricultural lender or other officer position depending on the needs of the bank and skill set of the trainee. The individual will go through an extensive bank training program, where they will be trained in almost every area and department of the bank and designed to give them the necessary tools and development opportunities to become a successful lender. As they progress through the program, they will actively assist commercial and agricultural lending officers in managing customer relationships. Through this process, the employee will become knowledgeable about all aspects of the commercial and agricultural lending process.
Responsibilities Include:
• Developing a working knowledge of the bank’s credit policy.
• Assist commercial and agricultural loan officers in monitoring asset quality through review of delinquent loans, overdrafts, and loan classifications.
• Develop Knowledge of commercial depositary and loan accounts and the necessary documentation that is required to support these accounts.
• Develop knowledge of the bank’s internet banking product and how it can be used by our commercial and agricultural customers.
• Maintain a tracking system for loan and financial documentation.
• Complete credit write-ups for commercial and agricultural customers.
• Maintain high professional standards of quality with delivery of products and service to our customers.
• Represent F&M Bank in various community venues.

Also required:
• Successful completion of a credit history check is a condition of the employment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management, Finance, Business, Economics, or Agricultural Business
• Detail and goal oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
