Montna Farms is seeking a full-time Accounting & Human Resource Manager to join the Montna Farms team. Montna Farms, located in Yuba City, CA, is a major grower of Japanese short grain specialty rice as well as a leader in working lands conservation. You will gain firsthand experience working on the financial aspects of the farming operations alongside managing human resources. This is a great opportunity for students that are/have studied Agribusiness, Accounting and/or Personnel Management/Human Resources. Furthermore, you will gain valuable experience in the California rice industry.


Duties and Responsibilities:
• Human Resources Manager
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll
• Assist with preparation of financial statements
• Assist with preparation crop year budgets and cash flow
• Assist with risk management and gain working knowledge of risk loss control
• Assist with Yield Mapping and Fertilizer Prescription Maps for field operations

Working Hours:
In-person Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5pm
