The Associate Branch Manager ensures customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and profitability of an assigned branch through effective management and coordination of customer service, employee training and development, equipment and facility resources, safety leadership, and execution of all corporate goals and objectives. This person will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the branch.
• Proactively manages customer accounts by routinely completing site audits and communicating the status of all landscaping maintenance, enhancement, and irrigation activities in progress
• Identifies opportunities to improve site quality, safety, and value and communicates solutions to clients through proposals or presentations
• Reviews and negotiates contracts to meet profitability goals
• Motivates and evaluates all branch employees to promote the highest standards of cooperation, production, service, and ethics
• Implementation and achievement of division's goals and objectives; communicates to all levels of production
• Develop plans for the efficient use of materials, equipment, and staff
• Responsible for control of all budget line items and investigating all avenues to exceed and improve the division's bottom line
• Directs the development and implementation of all sales/marketing strategies utilized by the branch
• Evaluates performance, makes salary recommendations, and administers disciplinary actions consistent with company policy
• Evaluates and authorizes branch expenses to ensure cost effectiveness of all purchases
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Responsible for interviewing, on boarding and training new employees
Qualifications:

• Customer service, sales, and management experience are a must
• Effective communicator with customers and throughout all levels of the company
• Ability to prioritize job duties in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of all facets of landscape management including irrigation programming, plant ID, and care
• Ability to prioritize job duties in a fast-paced environment
• 2+ years college & 4+ years landscaping experience or 6+ years landscaping experience or experience in Property Management or Facilities Maintenance
• Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Business, Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Environmental Design, Landscape Architecture, or other Green Industry degree
• Valid CA Driver’s License
