Student needed to provide gardening, planting, organization, establish possible LLC for Cancer Victory Garden. This is a GREAT Senior Project!!! This is not a huge amount of land, as the garden is small but highly efficient. Last year we donated 524 vases of cut flowers from our garden. Currently our garden encompasses the community and provides volunteer opportunities and a safe space for Survivors, Supporters, and Gardeners who donate time to the garden.

The Cancer Victory Garden provides locally grown fresh flowers weekly to SLO cancer patients via: Hearst Cancer Resource Center, UCLA Oncology, Dignity Infusion Center. We function as a non-profit although we are currently not a non-profit. We have two fundraisers annually. Cancer Victory Planting Party, Saturday, March 8, 9am-12 and A Signature Event: A Mexican Evening in the Garden, Sunday, August 10, 2025. The garden is self supporting and on private property in San Luis Obispo. Students are needed to: plan the planting cycles, plant seeds, attend events and plantings.

This is more of a Senior Project as there is no budget for hiring. We would like to invite Cal Poly Business Ag students to partner with us in this community project.
