Calavo Growers, part of the Renaissance Food Group, is looking for a District Field Manager for their southern field office. Essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the day to day management of the southern field office personnel, planning, organizing and directing field operations (daily monitoring, weekly crop strategy, monthly crop estimates), communicating with growers via email, phone and daily/weekly visits walking/hiking through groves, farm managers, transportation and harvest operations in the pursuit of volume growth.

Requirements include ten+ years of field operations experience within the produce industry (mandatory), strong customer orientation, ability to shift/push/tip and/or move up to 85 lbs. (an avocado bin), ability to walk/hike groves on a daily/weekly basis, ability to logically analyze and resolve problems as well as be ambitious and a self-starter.
