Staff Engineer
Rock Solid Engineering, Inc.
Immediate opening for a full time Staff Level Engineer. BS in Civil Engineering required. EIT certification recommended, but not required.
We specialize in providing Geotechnical Investigations (soil reports) for projects, large and small. We have over 25 years of experience with local cities and counties. Our office is in Watsonville, California and we serve the greater Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito and Santa Clara Counties.
Our projects include new homes on undeveloped lots, additions to existing homes, lot splits, commercial buildings, coastal construction projects, land divisions, retaining walls, underpinning of structures, and manufactured homes.
Responsibilities:
Develop proposals, project scopes and budgets
Client interaction and project management
Field exploration
Laboratory testing
Engineering analysis
Report preparation
Observation and testing services during construction operations
Requirements:
Able to work independently, detailed-oriented, well organized, self-motivated, able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
