Duties and responsibilities include:
Scout fields for nutrition needs, pests and disease
Write fertilizer and pest control recommendations
Interpret water, soil and tissue samples
Develop nutrition and crop development plans
Work independently with minimal supervision
Maintain and develop profitable customer relations
Identify key customers and develop plans to grow sales territory
Keep current on products, labels and their benefits
Attend industry events as pertinent to customer needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in agronomy, soils, plant/crop science or related
CA Pest Control Advisor license; preferred QAL license or CCA license
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, work well with others
Physically able to lift 50 pounds and work under adverse field conditions
