Tina Kotsakou, Ph.D.
Tina Kotsakou is an Assistant Professor in the Agribusiness Department. She has taught courses on Microeconomic Theory and Data Analysis. Dr. Kotsakou received a Ph.D. from the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis. Her research interests focus agricultural economics and policy, food demand and supply, and agricultural marketing.
She follows the teacher-scholar model that places students at the center of experiential learning and integrates scholarship into the learning process. She is passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment that fosters a stronger sense of belonging in academia and in industry leadership especially for those students that grew up in marginalized communities or come from diverse cultural backgrounds.
