Student Profile: Zoe Bitter
Cal Poly agribusiness senior Zoe Bitter has not only excelled in her courses, she has also embraced multiple opportunities the department provides students to hone their skills outside the classroom.
In addition to completing internships at Agriland Farming Co. and Ag West Farm Credit, she has also been involved in the Agribusiness Management (ABM) Club, the 2024 National Agricultural Marketing Association case study competition and AGB’s industry engagement program at the 2024 International Fresh Produce Association.
She has also served as a grader and tutor, as well as participated in faculty research projects that deepen her understanding of agricultural economics, accounting and other topics.
“Cal Poly’s Agribusiness Department embodies the Learn by Doing philosophy in every aspect, providing me with incredible hands-on experiences,” said Bitter, who is on track to graduate in spring 2025. After graduation, she is joining Golden State Farm Credit as an appraisal intern.
