Letter from the Department Head

This brief newsletter is intended to keep you informed ahead of a more comprehensive edition coming this spring. As we expand opportunities for students to work with industry and gain real-world experience, we are also developing new processes to manage a periodic newsletter and incorporate it into our regular operations to highlight the department’s ongoing achievements and increase opportunities for engagement by our alumni and partners. All of this is taking place as we transition to new CAFES leadership under Dean Brian Horgan.

This issue includes a few highlights to show how the Agribusiness Department continues to provide students with not only a first-rate business education, but also meaningful opportunities to apply their skills through engagement with industry. We welcome your feedback and encourage you to watch for additional updates from the department in the coming months.
